Silk Road is the collective name given to a number of trade routes linking the Chinese and Roman Empire. The long and winding Silk Road in northwest China has a history of more than two thousand years.

This tour will lead you to explore the ancient Chinese culture through experiencing wonderful sceneries such as Mogao Grotto, Heavenly Lake, Gaochang Ancient City, etc.
Day 1 Beijing - Urumqi (by air)
Take flight from Beijing to Urumchi (Urumqi or Wulumuqi), the capital city of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region) of the People's Republic of China. Arrival in Urumchi, met by your local tour guide and have an excursion to Tianchi Lake situated on Tianshan Mountain. (L+D)
Day 2 Urumchi- Kashgar (by air)
After breakfast, take the morning flight for Kashgar. Arrival in Kashgar, met by your tour guide in Kashgar and transferred to your hotel. After lunch, visit Id Kah Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb and Sunday Bazaar. (B+L+D) You will have chance to visit Id Kah Mosque, Abakh Khoja Tomb and Sunday Bazaar. Return to your hotel in Kashgar. (B+L+D)
Day 3 Kashgar - The Lake Karakuli - Kashgar (by road)
There will be a full day round trip to the Lake Karakuli, 190 kilometers from Kashgar and 1,500 kilometers from Urumchi in southwest Xinjiang, and about 3600 meters above sea level. (B+L+D)
Day 4 Kashgar - Urumqi by air - Turpan (by road)
After breakfast, transferred to the Kashgar airport for your flight back to Urumchi and connect your private vehicle for Turpan. Met and transferred to your hotel in Turpan (B+L+D)
Day 5 Turpan
A visit to Jiaohe Ancient City, the Flaming Mountain, Astana Tombs, Grape Valley and Karez Well. (B+L+D)
Day 6 Turfan - Urumqi (by road)
After breakfast, take a private vehicle back to Urumqi. After lunch, visit the Bazaar in Urumqi.
The Bazaar in Urumqi: an Islamic bazaar located on Jiefang Nan Road. It is one of the most attractive tour sites in Xinjiang and Urumqi. Return to your hotel in Urumqi. (B+L+D)
