Introduction
|
Gulangyu Island is located just southwest of Xiamen City. Visitors can reach it by steamship from Xiamen City in about 5 minutes. Gulangyu Island is renowned for its delicate natural beauty, its ancient relics, and its varied architecture.

Itinerary
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning, and transfer to the ferry for a 7-minute boat trip to Gulangyu Island.
Take a peaceful walk and appreciate various old buildings before visiting Hi Heaven, the largest old villa on the island where you can enjoy ancient South Music performance and traditional Puppet Show, and you will also visit Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden and the famous Piano Museum with a collection of 80-fold rare old pianos from all over the world. Then back to Xiamen for lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, taste some famous Oolong tea in a local tea house. Visit South Putuo Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in town and Hulishan Fortress, which houses the world's biggest canon for coastal defense followed by a scenic drive on the Island Ring Road along the East Coast of Xiamen before transferring back to Hotel.
